What to do in life ? Taking the decision

Hi, I am Anonymous from India who is doing 9 to 5 job and is trying his hands on entrepreneurship. I am anonymous because you can find me in in anyone who is struggling with his/her life trying to find a meaning, trying who figure out what he/she wants to do in life.

And, it isn't necessary that "what to do in life" only has to do with the career. It can be in choosing the right job, the right relationship, the best country or locality live in. In every phase of life, we are taking decisions.

Majority of youth I see are doing job far away from their hometown and parents. I am one of them but do not want to stuck here for the whole life.

So, what to do ?
Heart says:

My parents will be living alone. Their only son -  who should support them in this age is busy minting money. Stay with parents.

Mind says:
Oh! Then what will I do to earn a living ?

And the question stays unanswered, unsolved.

I myself am stuck in the decision like this. I am staying in Pune while my parents are in Punjab.

The solution :

Now, to decide what to do about the situation, I woke up early in the morning and jotted down what is important in my life.

First thing I wrote was I never want a regret in my life. I never want a life where I am all successful but my parents are long gone and I didn't spend time with them because I was busy in my career or partying with friends.

I never wanted that.

So, I decided that I am not gonna happen this. I want to live with my parents. The decisions like these do not get implemented overnight. I am glad that I decided what I want in my life.

I have decided even though my pay scale is average, I will not compromise to stay with my family.

Hence, I decided I will not be in a race of buying a new flat, purchasing a new car as my other fellow colleagues are doing after taking a huge loan.

I am gonna live in a rented flat with my parents here in Pune. The benefit of taking flat on rent is I am not sure if I am gonna stay in Pune or my hometown.

So, I can do my job here, do my side gig and live with my parents at the same time :) 

I know it will take time but that's the best thing to do.

I hope my post helped you give some hope on what to do in life. It's not that difficult to decide - it's just a matter of spending alone time and writing down the priorities and then living by that.
